Lauren Easton

Lauren Easton has held multiple leadership roles at The Associated Press since September 2015, currently serving as Vice President of Global Communications and Head of the President's Office. Key responsibilities include directing crisis communications and leading public relations programs that achieve top-tier earned media. Prior to this, Lauren served as Director of Media Relations, where effective media engagement was a focus. Earlier experience includes a successful tenure at WILX-TV as the primary news anchor and morning news anchor, during which Lauren cultivated strong storytelling skills in younger journalists and led impactful community campaigns. Lauren holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from the University of Southern California.
