Mike Marot

Mike Marot is an accomplished sports writer with extensive experience in the field of journalism. Since September 2000, Mike has served as the lead sports writer for the Associated Press in Indianapolis, covering major teams and events, including the Colts, Pacers, NCAA tournaments, and significant championships. Prior to joining the AP, Mike held various editorial and writing positions at The Journal Gazette, The Hickory Daily Record, The Record-Herald, and The Athens Messenger, where responsibilities included copy editing and coverage of professional and college sports. Mike earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Ohio University in 1989.
