Joe Aguilar is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in sports journalism and editorial roles. Currently serving as a Copy Editor/Page Designer at Shaw Media and a Sports Writer for Golf Chicago Magazine since July 2021, Aguilar has also contributed as On-Camera Sales for Ultimate Autographs since December 2020. Prior to these positions, significant contributions were made at Daily Herald Media Group from 2001 to 2020, where Aguilar was the first Lake County Sports Coordinator and gained recognition as a leading on-air commentator for ABC7-TV Morning News. With a solid foundation in communications from Northern Illinois University, Aguilar has a track record of managing teams, writing and editing a high volume of stories, and successfully enhancing brand presence through social media and public engagements.
