Stephen de Souza M.D.

Stephen De Souza MD serves as the Assistant Medical Director and a Surgeon on the Board of Directors at Scottsdale Eye Surgery Center since September 2009. Additionally, Stephen has held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix since September 2017. As a partner and vitreoretinal surgeon at Associated Retina Consultants since April 2007, Stephen has extensive experience in the field, having previously worked as a vitreoretinal surgeon at Southwestern Eye Center, York-Finch Eye Associates, and St. Michael's Hospital. Stephen's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Ottawa and an FRCSC from the University of Toronto. Further training was completed at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital as a fellow in vitreoretinal surgery.
