Mary Abel is an experienced editor with a strong background in magazine publishing and content management. Currently self-employed as a freelance editor since May 2023, Mary has also served as the editor of ASCP Skin Deep magazine since March 2015. Previously, Mary held the position of Editor in Chief at Colorado Homes & Lifestyles magazine from February 2011 to February 2015 and was the Online Content Editor for NCI from October 2005 to February 2011, where responsibilities included updating eight regional home design publications. Earlier roles included Editor in Chief at To the Trade and Managing Editor for Mountain Living and Log & Timber Style, showcasing a progressive career in editorial leadership. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Literature from Mount St Clare College.
