Luther joined AUI as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in February. He brings a broad background and over 30 years of diverse experiences in all aspects of accounting and financial management for both public commercial and private not-for-profit organizations. His most recent position was the CFO & Treasurer at SRI International, where he significantly improved the integrity and transparency of its financial processes and results, and was responsible for the financial aspects of its growth in technology based research opportunities and commercial ventures. Previously, he held a similar position at CNA, a Department of Defense sponsored FFRDC, and other financial leadership roles at leading government contractors.
He brings a successful record of partnering with leadership teams to develop and achieve strategic growth plans in academically based research, while realizing consistent and compliant execution of all financial and mission focused operational objectives.
