Ellen Schafer

Ellen Schafer has extensive experience in film preservation, catalog management, and refugee support. Currently serving as the Head of Classic Film Libraries at ARGOS FILMS / CITE FILMS since November 2018, Ellen has previously held significant roles at SND Films - Groupe M6 and SNC, focusing on film rights consolidation, restoration strategies, and negotiation with rights holders. With a bilingual background, Ellen's career includes overseeing technical post-production processes at Pandora and coordinating international production relations at ARGOS FILMS. Additionally, Ellen volunteers at Association Aurore, providing educational and psychological support to refugees, and holds various degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts in French language and literature.
