Toby Buckalew, MBA has over 20 years of work experience in various leadership roles in the technology and healthcare sectors. Toby most recently served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Fortune Beast. Prior to that, they were the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Association for Business Technology Professionals DFW, where they formulated a new operational strategy and focus to drive accountability and ownership.
Toby has also held positions such as Interim/Fractional Chief Information Officer at Columbia Advisory Group, where they reorganized the technology team and developed a revenue-generating service center. Toby was also the CIO at OneShare Health, a national non-profit healthcare program payor, where they provided executive leadership and stability during a period of organizational change.
Additionally, Toby has experience in the education sector as a member of the Business Advisory Council at Jack E Singley Academy and as a mentor for cybersecurity teams participating in the US Air Force Association CyberPatriot competition.
Throughout their career, Toby has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, technology management, data governance, and operational efficiency. Toby has presented at various conferences and has a strong track record of driving growth and success in the organizations they have served.
Toby Buckalew, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Texas A&M International University. Toby also completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Technical Management/Logistics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
