Bernadette Shade

Bernadette Shade serves as Publishing Production Manager and Print Production Manager at the Association for Computing Machinery since July 2017, overseeing the intricate print production and distribution processes for scholarly journals, technical magazines, conference proceedings, and books. With a prior tenure at Peter Lang International Academic Publishers from June 1998 to July 2017, Bernadette fulfilled various roles, including Director of Production, ensuring the timely completion of over 200 titles annually, and Production Manager, where oversight of monthly printer releases was crucial. Bernadette's career began in the dental field as a Dental Assistant at Michael Fricchione, DDS, from September 1991 to June 1998. Bernadette holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Hunter College.
