Mahbubul Syeed

Mahbubul Syeed, PhD, is a Professor and Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Independent University, Bangladesh, since January 2022, and serves as the Lead Project Coordinator for the "Coding for All" initiative aimed at enhancing computer literacy among students. An active member of professional communities, Mahbubul is involved with the Association for Computing Machinery and serves as a reviewer for several journals, including the International Journal of Open Source Software Projects and the Navigation journal. Prior to his current role, Mahbubul held various positions at American International University Bangladesh, Finnish Geospatial Research Institute, and PacketVideo, focusing on software development and educational frameworks. Mahbubul obtained a PhD in Software Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, complemented by an M.Sc in Information Technology and a B.Sc in Computer Science and Information Technology from the Islamic University of Technology.
