Alana Birchall

Alana Birchall is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in marketing, internal communications, and project management. Currently serving as Chair of Marketing and Conference for the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement Inc since April 2021, Alana has also held key roles such as Writer and Editor at Mirandus since July 2009, and Assistant Director of Communications for the Global Business & Talent Attraction Taskforce from June 2021 to June 2022. Previous positions include Senior Internal Communications Advisor at Newcrest Mining, Communications Specialist and Project Manager at Weave Web, and Communications Consultant at BHP Billiton. Alana's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Virtual Communication from RMIT University and a Graduate Certificate in Social Sciences with a focus on Philanthropy and Social Investment from Swinburne University of Technology.
