The Clinical Teacher Editorial Advisory Board Member at Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME)

Jun Jie L. is currently an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Clinical Education Research at Newcastle University and an ST1 in General Adult Psychiatry with the Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, both positions held since August 2025. Jun Jie serves on the Clinical Teacher Editorial Advisory Board for the Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME) and acts as Content Lead and Committee Member for the Developing Medical Educators Group. With an association as an Associate and Student member at the Academy of Medical Educators since July 2022, Jun Jie has also contributed as a Senior Editor and Section Editor at The British Student Doctor and The University of Sheffield, respectively. As a Specialised Foundation Doctor at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Jun Jie engages in clinical education while pursuing a PgCert in Medical Education and participating in the SFP Unlocked initiative. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia and a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Research from Newcastle University.
