Anne Kimmerlein, DVM, MPVM, DACVPM, is a Veterinary Epidemiologist at VCA since July 2018 and has held leadership roles as Immediate Past-President and President of the Association for Veterinary Informatics since November 2021. In addition, Anne Kimmerlein serves as a HQHV Spay/Neuter Veterinarian and Community Clinic Veterinarian at Sacramento SPCA since March 2018. Previous experience includes working as a Relief/Associate Veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital, High Volume Spay and Neuter Veterinarian at both San Francisco SPCA and Placer SPCA, and Shelter Veterinarian at the SPCA for Monterey County and The Animal Foundation. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Preventive Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Mary's College of California.
