Robert Fronczak

Robert Fronczak is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental management and hazmat operations within the railroad industry. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President Environment & Hazmat at the Association of American Railroads, a position held since May 1994, Robert previously held roles such as Executive Director of Environmental Affairs at the same organization, where responsibilities included developing industry policy on environmental issues. Earlier career experiences include Program Manager at Radian Corporation, Area Manager at Nalco Chemical, and Director of Environmental Control at the Chicago Milwaukee St. Paul & Pacific Railroad. Robert began in the field as an Environmental Engineer at HNTB, focusing on the design and construction management of water and wastewater treatment facilities. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Operations Management from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University.
