Hanan Saab currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Government Relations & Public Policy at the Association of American Universities, a position held since April 2019, following previous roles including Assistant Vice President for Federal Relations at the same organization. Prior to this, Hanan Saab worked at the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities as Associate Director and Assistant Director for International Policy within the Congressional & Governmental Affairs department. Experience also includes a tenure at NAFSA: Association of International Educators in various public policy roles and a brief stint as an Education Fellow in the United States Senate. Early career experiences include positions at CET Academic Programs, The Advocates for Human Rights, the University of Minnesota, and The Globalist.
