Tobin Smith

Tobin Smith currently serves as the Senior Vice President for Government Relations & Public Policy at the Association of American Universities. Prior to this, Tobin held the role of Vice President for Science Policy & Global Affairs within the same organization. Tobin's professional experience also includes positions at the University of Michigan Washington Office, MIT Washington Office, and as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Bob Traxler. Tobin holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Communications from the University of Michigan and a Master's degree in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University. Throughout their career, Tobin has shown a strong commitment to science and innovation policy, as well as international activities.
