Sarah Aspinall has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Sarah most recently held the position of Director of Corporate Affairs at the Association of British Insurers since January 2024. Prior to that, they worked as the Assistant Director and Head of Communications at the same organization since June 2020.

Before joining the Association of British Insurers, Sarah worked at the BBC as the Head of Communications, Strategic Planning, and Campaigns from June 2018 to April 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Media Relations Manager from October 2016 to June 2018, and as a Publicist in the Drama department from March 2014 to October 2016.

Sarah's career also includes experience at Sky as a PR Manager/Senior Publicist from April 2012 to March 2014, and at Ian Johnson Publicity as a Senior Publicist from November 2010 to April 2012.

Sarah began their career in music PR, working for a range of artists in the UK and US. Sarah worked at Pomona PR in Manchester during their degree, then moved to London to join Hall or Nothing PR for four years. Following that, they worked at Sony Music and Atlantic Records from September 1998 to September 2007.

Prior to their music PR career, Sarah worked as a Press Officer at Clarence House from September 2007 to November 2010.

Sarah Aspinall attended the University of Manchester from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a BA Hons in History of Modern Art.
