Tom Clayton

Tom Clayton has a diverse work experience in the information technology field. Tom served as the Director of Information Technology at the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) from 2016 to the present. Prior to that, they were the Director of Enterprise Data at Trucker Path from 2015 to 2016. At Asuragen, they worked as the Director of Information Technology Services for nine years, from 2006 to 2015. Tom started their career as a Technical Project Manager and Senior Software Developer at Seismic Micro-Technology from 2002 to 2006. Tom has extensive experience in project leadership, process improvement, application development, information system security, and managing teams and vendors. Tom has also worked on various software and system implementations, including CRM, ERP, LIMS, and Big Data Analytics. Additionally, they have expertise in healthcare industry regulations and compliance, specifically HIPAA and 21 Part11. Tom is a skilled leader and effectively manages cross-functional personnel.

Tom Clayton holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University. Tom also received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at San Antonio, with a specialization in Accounting / Information Systems. Additionally, Tom has obtained certifications including CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) from (ISC)², PMP (Project Management Professional) from Project Management Institute Houston, and Salesforce Certified Administrator from Salesforce.
