John Weston is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in member governance and advocacy, currently serving as the Head of Secretariat at ACCA since August 2011. In this role, John provides global leadership on member engagement, oversees governance for over 120 local branches, and manages significant global events such as the AGM and International Assembly. Previously, John held roles including Regional Head of Member Advocacy and Satisfaction for Europe and Americas and Head of ACCA UK. As the Founder Director of StellaNova Consulting Ltd from 2004 to 2014, John focused on individual and team development through various consulting services. Additional professional experiences include leadership positions at Open University, CQI, The MotivAction Team, and the Institute of Directors, where John directed the commercial learning and development portfolio. John holds multiple qualifications including a BA(Hons) in Modern History and various certifications in executive coaching and business administration.
