Alexander Russ

Alexander Russ is a seasoned public policy professional currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Global Public Policy at the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) since October 2020. Furthermore, Alexander holds a position on the Board of Directors of the Canadian American Business Council while previously serving as Director of Government Relations at AEM from February 2011 to 2020, advocating for an industry that significantly contributes to the U.S. economy. Alexander's earlier experience includes roles as Global Affairs Manager, Legislative Assistant, and Staff Assistant/System Administrator in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2006 to 2009. Alexander earned a Master of Science from the University of Amsterdam and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.
