Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan (AFK) - non-profit professional association representing the interests of both traditional and Islamic finance industry in the Presidential administration, the Government, the Parliament and the National Bank of Kazakhstan. The Association has over 160 members, including banks, insurance companies, brokers and asset management companies, pension funds, quasi-government corporates, auditors and professional service companies, universities and educational providers. The AFK is formally accredited by the National bank and the Government of Kazakhstan to represent the interests and to participate in the regulatory and statutory activities related to the financial industry in Kazakhstan.
