Jim Holway attended Trinity College of Burlington from 1988 to 1990, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Small Business Administration/Management. From 1998 to 2001, they studied at Burlington College, specializing in Social Services in Foster Care with a focus on Child Care and Support Services Management. In 1992 to 1993, they took courses in Computer Software Engineering at Saint Michael's College. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1988, Jim Holway studied for three years towards a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) at Johnson State College in Johnson, Vermont, and also gained experience working as a Computer Software Technology/Technician.
