Elizabeth King

Elizabeth King is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in higher education administration. Currently serving as an Executive Search Consultant at the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges since August 2024, Elizabeth previously held prominent leadership roles, including President and CEO Emerita of the WSU Foundation and Alumni Engagement since July 1991, where Elizabeth also served as President & CEO and Executive Director. Prior experience includes the role of Vice President for University Advancement at Wichita State University from July 1991 to June 2006 and at Friends University from May 1989 to July 1991. Elizabeth holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and a Master of Education from the University of North Texas, along with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College.
