Larry Ladd

Larry Ladd is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in higher education administration and financial management. Currently serving as a Subject Matter Specialist and Executive Search Consultant for the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges since 2019, Ladd previously held key positions including Director of Higher Education & Not-for-Profit Practices at Grant Thornton LLP, and Director of Budget and Financial Planning at Harvard University. Additional roles included Chief Financial Officer at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Dean of Administration at Tufts University. Ladd began his career as Assistant Provost for Administration at Boston University and as Assistant to the President at Duke University. Ladd holds a Master's degree in Education Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
