Aftab Zafar

Aftab Zafar has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as Manager Management Support and Advisor to the Deputy Managing Director/CFO at MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Co. B.V. since October 2018. Additionally, Aftab holds the position of Co-Chair of the Pakistan Steering Committee for the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators since January 2020. Previously, Aftab was Head of Business Development and Joint Ventures at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil and Gas Company Limited for a brief period in 2018 and worked at MOL Pakistan from 2013 to 2017 in various engineering roles. Aftab's leadership capabilities have been further cultivated through educational pursuits, including a degree in Leadership and Policy from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Oil and Gas Enterprise Management from the University of Aberdeen, alongside strategic leadership training from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Aftab also has experience in international relations from a directorial role at Rotary International.
