Jessica Ferguson is an accomplished professional with a strong background in public affairs and external communications. Currently serving as External Affairs Manager at the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners since August 2021, Jessica has previously held the position of Public Affairs Officer at both the Association and the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee from March 2018 to August 2021. An internship with Incisive Health in late 2017 provided valuable experience that complemented Jessica's educational credentials, which include a Master of Arts in Political Communication from Cardiff University, completed in 2016.

The Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC) is a company limited by guarantee. The APCC services are overseen and directed by the Chairman and Board of Directors. The APCC offers the following services to PCCs: - Information on national policing policy issues and legislation. - Consults PCCs to enable them to develop policy positions and to influence change. - Facilitates the leadership of PCCs on national governance structures such as the College of Policing, National Crime Agency and Police Professional Bodies. - Assists PCCs in collaborating to share practice, procure services, and identify ways to achieve efficiencies through working together.
