Yadira H. serves as the Director of Member Engagement at the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors Inc. (APSCA) since April 2024. Previously, Yadira held the position of Senior Health and Safety Manager for WeWork in the US and Canada from July 2021 to March 2024, and worked as a Departmental Safety Officer for the County of San Diego from October 2019 to May 2021. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Certification Manager for Apparel and Home Goods at Fair Trade USA, as an Independent Contractor specializing in Labor and Environmental Compliance Auditing, and various roles at UL including Global Training Manager and Operations Manager for North America. Yadira began the professional journey at STR (now UL) as an International Compliance Auditor and Training Supervisor. Academically, Yadira earned a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy and a BA in Law and Society/Spanish Literature from UC Santa Barbara.

Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors Inc. (APSCA)

APSCA was created to enhance the professionalism, consistency and credibility of individual auditors and organizations performing independent social compliance audits, and to promote the use of independent social compliance audits as a tool to advance workplace conditions for workers globally. APSCA's certification process will validate that auditors are able to demonstrate competencies which are standard requirements in comparable professional associations. Social compliance audits are often conducted by third party auditing firms and are a tool used by multinational organizations to assess their supply chain facilities compliance to local and international expectations on labor conditions. .
