Cierra Griffin has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Campus Representative for the Association of Texas Professional Educators since August 2016 and as a Teacher for Houston ISD since July 2017. Cierra held the position of Texas Southern University ATPE President and contributed as a Substitute Teacher for Fort Bend ISD from October 2015 to January 2016. Cierra's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University Chicago (2020-2024), two Master of Education degrees in Educational Leadership and Administration and Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington (2018-2019), and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Early Childhood Education from Texas Southern University (2014-2017). Cierra graduated from Richard King High School in Corpus Christi in 2004.
