Benjamin Scheich has a diverse work experience with various roles in analytics and operations. Benjamin currently serves as the VP at the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), overseeing policy, analytics, project management, and sales. Prior to this, they were the Interim AVP at AWHONN, responsible for educational content creation and product fulfillment. Benjamin has also held positions as Senior Director and Director of Data Analytics at AWHONN, where they implemented innovative analytics techniques and developed key financial and engagement metrics. Benjamin has also worked as a Manager at AWHONN, where they managed the development and go-live of a benchmarking database for birthing hospitals. Before joining AWHONN, Benjamin worked at Practice Management Partners as a Supervisor of Revenue Management and at BearingPoint as a Senior Consultant, specializing in process redesign in hospitals. Benjamin began their career at Arthur Andersen as a Senior Consultant, redesigning processes for an insurance carrier. Benjamin has a strong background in analytics, operations, and process improvement.
Benjamin Scheich obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia, attending from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they studied Chemical Engineering and Business at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1995 to 1997. Benjamin later pursued a Master's degree in Biostatistics at Georgetown University from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in the Python Programmer Track from DataCamp in June 2020.
