Sofia Navard

Sofia Navard is a seasoned freelance writer and editor with extensive experience in communication and media. Currently, Sofia serves as a freelance writer for Golf Digest since December 2021 and as an assistant managing editor for the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) since May 2019. Additionally, Sofia has been a self-employed freelance journalist since January 2017. Previous roles include gameday ambassador for the Baltimore Ravens, fan marketing specialist for the Washington Redskins, office manager for the Maryland Department of Public Safety - CJIS, and student journalist at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Early career experience includes production internships at the Golf Channel, NBC News, and Discovery Communications. Sofia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and has education from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
