Suzan Wood

Suzan Wood is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing leadership and management. Currently serving as the Administrative Nursing Director at Tenet Healthcare since November 2021, Suzan also holds the position of Director of Medical/Surgical, Surgical, Women's Services, and Ortho at Tenet Healthcare-St Francis Bartlett since February 2017. Suzan has a robust history with Tenet Healthcare, previously overseeing a staff of 125 at Tenet Hialeah and managing Level III deliveries at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. With a strong focus on women's health and obstetrics, Suzan is a certified AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring Instructor and has implemented the Couplet Care Model in previous roles. Suzan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University and both a Master's degree and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Leadership from Chamberlain University.
