Beth Firchau

Beth Firchau serves as the AZA SAFE Coral Program Manager and Florida Reef Tract Rescue Project Coordinator for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums since November 2018, leading conservation efforts in collaboration with various environmental organizations. Previously, Beth held key leadership roles including Principal at Conservation Coordination, LLC, Director of Husbandry at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Senior Curator at Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center, and Senior Aquarist at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Beth holds a Bachelor's degree in Zoology and Mathematics from The Ohio State University, earned between 1984 and 1989.
