Association Reserves
Soren Hoien is currently a Project Manager at Association Reserves, where the main focus is working with HOA’s to help them avoid surprise costs and be financially prepared for the future. With experience as a CEO and Founder at Lift Bridge Marine Detailing, Soren successfully managed financials, customer service, operations, and employee management. Additionally, Soren has interned at Navy Island Inc. in both Business Development and Marketing roles, gaining experience in project management, competitor research, product development, and CRM implementation. Soren also has experience as an Honor Caddie at Dellwood Country Club MN. Soren is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business/Management at Colorado Christian University.
Association Reserves
A Reserve Study is the art and science of anticipating, and preparing for, major common area repair and replacement expenses. A Reserve Study allows the Board and Management to offset the ongoing deterioration of the common areas with Funds to ensure the timely repair or replacement of those common areas. When properly done, irregular Reserve expenses are offset by ongoing, regular Reserve contributions. Special assessments are then left for true emergencies, not expenses which could have been anticipated.
