Desiree Perez Lmsw

Desiree Perez, LMSW, is an experienced social worker and program coordinator currently serving as the Program Coordinator for the School Response Team at the Association to Benefit Children (ABC) since June 2016, where responsibilities include supervising parent advocates and responding to crises in multiple middle and high schools in Manhattan. Prior experience includes serving as a Social Worker for the School-Based Response Team, providing mental health assessments and referrals, and working as a Child Parent Psychotherapy Therapist during an internship at the Coalition for Hispanic Family Services. Education includes a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Clinical Social Work Practice from Alliance University, obtained in 2016, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Social Work from the same institution, completed in 2015. Additional experience includes roles as an Administrative Assistant and Social Work Intern, where responsibilities ranged from administrative tasks to providing direct support to clients and families.
