Alan E. Krinzman

Alan E. Krinzman is the partner in charge of Assouline & Berlowe, P.A.’s Real Estate practice and also a member of the Corporate & Finance, and Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Groups. His practice focuses on all aspects of real estate, including acquisitions, development and improvement, leasing, dispositions, zoning and entitlements, and land use planning.

During his 35 years of real estate-related law practice, Mr. Krinzman has assisted clients plan and negotiate construction budgets and other complex project documents; interact with architects and contractors; and navigate the intricacies of governmental approval and permitting processes.

Mr. Krinzman has also developed skill sets in banking and private finance transactions, work-outs, bankruptcy and insolvency, creditor and debtor rights, and foreclosure litigation inclusive of foreclosure prosecution and foreclosure defense.

Some of the objective indications of the excellence Mr. Krinzman has achieved in these real estate related skill sets is Mr. Krinzman’s longtime "AV" Preeminent rating from Martindale and Hubbell; LEED Accredited Professional from US Green Building Counsel; member of Trial Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida (Bankruptcy Practice Only); and State of Florida Real Estate Sales Associate License.

Because Mr. Krinzman has a deep understanding of the subject areas in which he practices, he has the ability to quickly analyze a given situation, evaluate its worth to or impact upon the client and figure out the most appropriate and cost efficient course of action for the client. Consequently, both long time and new clients regularly seek Mr. Krinzman’s opinion on business matters as well as his legal counsel.

Mr. Krinzman is only one of a very few Florida attorneys who are also designated as a Leadership in Energy and Design (LEED) Professional by the U.S. Green Building Council’s Green Building Certification Institute. Based upon this accreditation from of the U.S. Green Building Council, Mr. Krinzman is qualified to assist building owners and managers with the LEED certification process and making buildings more energy efficient. In addition, Mr. Krinzman assists clients by helping them plan and implement their green building strategy. He also helps clients identify available green building economic incentives, related contracting issues, green leasing requirements, and risk management.
