Michel Simard

Michel Simard has extensive experience in the insurance industry, with their most recent role being the Vice President of Group Insurance at Assomption Vie l Assumption Life since 2023. Prior to that, they held several positions at Optimum Reassurance, including Vice President of Group Development from 2005 to 2012 and Vice President of Reinsurance from 2012 to 2018. In 2018, they became the Senior Vice President of Market Development at Optimum Reassurance.

Michel Simard obtained a Baccalauréat degree in Actuariat from Université Laval between 1987 and 1990.
