Stéphane Progin

Stéphane Progin currently serves as Head of Risk Management at Assura since May 2021. Prior to this role, Stéphane was Abteilungsleiter Assurance and a member of the Directorate at CSS Versicherung from May 2019 to April 2021. From April 2017 to April 2019, Stéphane held the position of Leiter Sektion Governance Aufsicht at the Bundesamt für Gesundheit BAG. Stéphane's experience also includes managerial roles at the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA from July 2011 to March 2017, and insurance specialization at The Boston Consulting Group from June 2008 to June 2011. Earlier professional experiences include serving as Head of Claims at CORIS and as a legal professional at Allianz Suisse. Stéphane holds an eMBA in management from HEG Fribourg/HSW Bern and an M Law degree from Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg.
