Kristen Whitney, CTRS

Kristen Whitney, CTRS has worked in the field of recreation therapy since 2013. Her work experience includes being a Graduate Assistant for the Women's Swim Team at The University of Toledo in 2013, a Recreation Therapy Intern at Special Tree Rehabilitation System in 2014, a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Toledo in 2014, a Recreation Therapy Director at Heartland Of Perrysburg in 2015, a Day Treatment Services Clinical Team Lead at Special Tree Rehabilitation System in 2019, and an Activity Director at Assurance Health System in 2021.

Kristen Whitney, CTRS obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from The University of Toledo in 2015. Kristen then went on to receive their Master's Degree in Recreation Administration from The University of Toledo in 2015. In addition, they hold a certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, CTRS.
