Biju Nair

Biju Nair is the current President of Global Connected Living at Assurant. Prior to this, they were the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at HYLA Mobile, and before that, the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Sapience Knowledge Systems.

Nair has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Biju started their career at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs, where they worked on several ground-breaking projects such as the world's first CDMA cellular system and the world's first VoIP system. Biju then went on to co-found Sapience Knowledge Systems, which was acquired by Synchronoss Technologies in 2011.

Nair has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

Biju Nair has a MS in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a MS in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology. Biju also has a certification from R2.
