Kara Sterner

Kara Sterner is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and brand development across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing Strategy at Assurant since October 2024, Kara previously held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at the Challenged Athletes Foundation, where leadership in marketing communications increased brand awareness and fundraising efforts significantly. Prior to that, as Director of Marketing & Communications at Pacific Ridge School, Kara transformed a marketing team into a strategic partner for multiple constituencies. Earlier roles include Director of Innovation at Bumble Bee Foods, Senior Manager of Innovation at Sony Electronics, where significant product launches and marketing processes were developed, and foundational experience as a CRM Specialist. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Bentley University.
