Lance Martin

Lance Martin is an experienced compliance professional with a robust career spanning over two decades in various financial institutions and consulting roles. Currently serving as a Compliance Officer and Counsel at Assurant since September 2018, Martin plays a vital role in helping the company protect and support over 300 million consumers globally. Prior experience includes positions as VP of Enterprise Compliance and Counsel at WebBank, SVP of Retail/Consumer Compliance Executive at Bank of America, and VP of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs at Encore Capital Group. Additionally, Martin has held consulting roles in compliance, operations, and litigation, alongside leadership positions at Alliance Data and Arrow Financial Services. Martin holds a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School and a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Arizona.
