Susan Kim

Susan Kim currently serves as Vice President and Managing Attorney for Business Legal at Assurant, a premier provider of specialized insurance products and services, having joined the company in September 2014. Prior to this role, Susan was Lead Counsel in the Litigation Group at Assurant, where responsibilities included managing various legal disputes. From December 2000 to August 2014, Susan was a Partner at Bingham McCutchen LLP, representing a diverse range of clients in complex business litigation. Susan began the legal career as an Associate at Pepe and Hazard, LLP, handling civil disputes and managing client relationships. The initial experience included a Law Clerk position at the Office of the United States Attorney, focusing on civil and criminal law issues. Susan holds a law degree from Syracuse University College of Law and a BA in Clinical Psychology from Tufts University.
