Akinotan Akintoye

Akinotan Akintoye, FCCA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Akinotan began their career as a Summer Intern at HSBC in 2008, where they analyzed financial performance data to suggest strategies for improvement. From 2007 to 2009, Akinotan worked as a Maths Teacher at Teach First, leading a diverse group of students to achieve beyond their circumstances and implementing effective teaching methods. Akinotan then joined XL Catlin in 2011 as a UK Reporting Accountant, where they played a vital role in providing management information, developing finance systems, and executing controls for accurate reporting. After working at Liberty Specialty Markets as a Financial Reporting Accountant from 2015 to 2017, Akinotan currently serves as the Vice President of Finance at Assured Guaranty since November 2017.

Akinotan Akintoye, FCCA, obtained a BA in Economics and Accounting from Alliance Manchester Business School from 2003 to 2006. Akinotan later pursued an MSc in International Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Essex in 2009 and 2010. Akinotan is also an ACCA member, completing their ACCA qualification.
