David Flood

David Flood is currently serving as Legal Counsel for Global Structured Finance & Infrastructure at Assured Guaranty since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Associate in Structured Finance at Mayer Brown from May 2018 to October 2023, and Associate in Structured Finance at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP from August 2015 to April 2018. Additionally, David worked as a Secondee in Securitised Products and Structured Finance at Barclays from September 2016 to May 2017, and as an Associate at Matheson from September 2011 to August 2015, where David also began as a Trainee Associate. Early career experience includes working as a Paralegal at Victoria Legal Aid in early 2011. Educational qualifications include Professional Practice Courses from the Law Society of Ireland, a Diploma in Aircraft Leasing & Financing from the same institution, a degree from the New York State Bar, and a Bachelor of Business & Law from University College Dublin. David completed secondary education at St. Mary's College C.S.Sp.
