Royi Barnea has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as a PHD Student at Bar-Ilan University, where they conducted research on lab animals. In 2015, they joined Assuta Medical Centers as an Epidemiologist and later became the Chief Investigator in 2017. In 2020, they joined Netanya Academic College as a Senior Lecturer.
Royi Barnea completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Neuroscience from Bar-Ilan University from 2006 to 2009. Royi then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Neuroscience from the same university from 2009 to 2011. Subsequently, they attended Bar-Ilan University again and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Neuroscience from 2011 to 2015. Most recently, they attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
