Business Development Lead - Energy Transition at Assystem

Bethany Jim has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Bethany is currently a Council Member at the Next Gen Nuclear Industry Council. Prior to this, they worked at Assystem as a Business Development Lead and Sales Engineer in the Energy Transition sector. Bethany also served as a Project Lead at Oxford Strategy Group and interned at the United Nations. Bethany has experience as a Research Engineer Intern at Airbus and as a Student Research Assistant at The University of Sheffield.

Bethany Jim is currently pursuing their DPhil in Materials Science through the Fusion Energy CDT program at the University of Oxford. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Engineering (Research) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Sheffield, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Bethany's academic journey began at Bramdean School in Exeter, where they completed their A-Levels in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and History, along with achieving 12 GCSEs.
