James Mahoney is an experienced engineering professional currently employed as an Engineering CAD Tech at ASTA America since August 2023. Prior to this role, James served as a Computer Aided Design Drafter at Goodman Telecom Services from March 2018 to May 2023. In 2016, James briefly worked as a Robotics Engineer at NuSpatial, where programming, hardware testing, and program development were key responsibilities. Early in James' career, a role as an assistant electrical repair technician at Earthsound Recording involved replacing components on a 1979 Solid State Logic 4000e mixing console, leading to foundational skills in electrical fault tracing. James holds a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Kennesaw State University, completed between 2009 and 2015.
