Jassim Alobaidly

Jassim Alobaidly is a seasoned professional in civil and structural engineering with extensive experience in venue management and project management. Currently serving as the Non Competition Venues Cluster Manager for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, Jassim also holds the position of Venue Manager at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, overseeing significant events like the FIFA Congress & Final Draw and the International Broadcast Centre for the FIFA World Cup 2022™. Jassim’s career began at the Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ in Qatar as a Project Engineer, followed by roles as Project Manager and Civil Structural Engineer at ASTAD Project Management. Jassim earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Leeds, completing the degree in 2011.
