Brian Halweil is a strategic associate at Astanor Ventures. Prior to their current position, Brian was the founding editor of Edibles in NYC, Long Island and Memphis, a position they held for thirteen years. Brian also served as the director of education and lecturer at the Food Lab at Stony Brook Southampton for five years. Brian has been a board member of Food Tank: The Food Think Tank since 2013.
Brian Halweil attended Stanford University for their Earth Systems degree with a focus in biology. Brian then attended Trinity High School.
