Sota Watanabe

Sota Watanabe serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Startale Labs and is the Founder of Astar Network, a multi-chain dApp hub on Polkadot. With extensive experience in the blockchain space, Sota has held advisory roles at GMO Internet Group, serves as Director at the Japan Blockchain Association, and is an advisory board member at the University of Washington's Business Intelligence for Global Entrepreneurship. Previous positions include being a Task Force Member for the Cabinet Office of Japan and a member of the Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator program. Sota has also contributed to Chronicled as a marketing intern and worked as a blockchain researcher at Tokyo University. Sota holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Keio University.
